The chinese sweet roast pork or ‘Char Siew’ as it is called in Hong Kong and South East Asia, is a well-loved staple in Chinese restaurants everywhere. Yet, traditional versions are laden with lots of syrup and sugar. Blyss Monkfruit makes this a very delectable and easy recipes – especially when all you need to do is to toss this into an air fryer.

Ingredients
Marinade for 1kg of pork loin:
- 2 tbs Blyss monkfruit sweetener
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
- 1 tbs fermented tofu or miso
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 1 tbs chinese rice wine (huadiao)
Method
- Mix the ingredients for the marinade well. Put it into a marinating food-grade bag and leave in the fridge overnight.
- Bake the loin in the oven or air-fryer at 180°C/356°F.
- Cool and slice for serving.
