Keto Chocolate Cheese Roll

This is the best swiss roll the editors have tasted. Soft, creamy, buttery and satisfying, this keto version will make your inner connoisseur and health police weep in joy.


Cake layer
4 Egg White
4 egg yolks
50g almond flour
80g coconut Oil
2 tbs lemon juice
80g Blyss Monkfruit sweetener
35g cocoa powder
a pinch of salt
30g plain yogurt or milk
Cheese Filling 
100g cream cheese
40g icing sugar
1 tbs Lemon juice


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree. Combine the egg white and add Blyss Monkfruit Sweetener and lemon juice and whisk until stiff peaks. Grease the cake tin and set side.
  2. Combine the almond flour, oil and salt into a bowl and mix until well blended.
  3. Take 2-3 tablespoon of the batter into a small bowl and mix it with 2 tablespoon of egg whites.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a piping bag and start to draw the design on the pan. Once done, bake in oven for 1min and remove.
  5. Mix the cocoa powder and yogurt into the mixture. Fold in the egg whites until well blended and pour it into the tin.
  6. Bake in oven for 20 mins. Once done, remove from oven and transfer the cake to a greaseproof paper. Roll the cake and leave it covered to cool.
  7. Prepare the cream cheese filling. Make sure the cheese has cooled to room Temperature.
